Musical Stars is an all singing, all dancing class teaching children the basics of musical theatre combined with acting and performance skills. An ideal class for children looking to perform in a relaxed atmosphere and for recreational purposes. Children work towards group presentations and performances and this is the feeder class for the senior musical theatre class. This class is for future stars who are currently in junior school Years 3 to 6.
Designed for secondary school performers who love to sing, dance, act and perform. This class promotes self confidence, expands and develops communication skills and stimulates the imagination. Led by a professional musical director with professional guest artists from the West End, this class is not to be missed.
Classes incorporate all the essential skills needed for musical theatre performance which include basic voice work, acting, singing and dancing. The content includes musical excerpts from popular shows, exploring the many styles of musical staging and performance from large ensemble pieces through to simple song and dance. Performers preparing for full time vocational training are tutored in repertoire, performance skills, presentation, microphone and audition technique.

Whether you're interested in Shakespeare, Brecht or Johnny Depp (his acting skills of course), then you'll learn and further your knowledge of play texts and understanding of a diverse range of acting styles and techniques. Performers hoping to audition for drama school or further education will accumulate a valuable collection of audition pieces and repertoire.
Acting, speech and drama are ideal for anyone looking towards furthering their knowledge and enjoyment of the theatre, or thespians hoping to return to the world of theatre in either an amateur or professional capacity.
In addition, we offer a wide variety of individual acting, speech and drama classes that allow the performer to focus on a particular area of theatre study relevant to experience and interest. Many performers are given the opportunity to take part in festivals, competitions, and the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) and Trinity Guildhall graded and vocational examinations.
Examinations are available in Acting, Devising Drama, Mime, Musical Theatre, Speaking Verse and Prose, Reading for Performance, Using Spoken English and Speaking in Public. Examinations are offered from Introductory level through to Grade 8 Gold medal and teaching status examinations in all subjects. All classes are led by an experienced and qualified LAMDA teacher.

Helping your child’s reading and speaking ability with friendly, fun classes.
Key skills include correcting speech faults, elocution and diction, confidence in reading aloud, listening and speaking skills for Key Stage 1.
