Singing and Vocal Technique

Whether you're a budding Pop, Rock or Opera Star, our superb singing teachers offer individual tuition in singing and vocal technique to children, teens and adults. Divas, rock stars and musical theatre heroes and heroines are given the opportunity to take graded and vocational examinations together with regular performance opportunities.

Every lesson consists of a vocal warm-up, variety of vocal repertoire, sight reading and performance. Performers are taught breathing technique, placement, diction, fluency, projection, intonation and variation of vocal tone. Performance skills incorporating acting techniques, gesture and expression, visualisation, style and character work are all brought together to improve communication through song.

Lots of opportunities to take part in competitions, performances and shows.

Vocal Music Theory

For the budding vocal technicians and Opera buffs, this is taught using the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music's theory exercise books and practice examination papers to achieve that all important Grade 5 theory certificate.
