The one year full time intensive Foundation Course is recognised for producing well trained performers ready to undertake further vocational training particularly at higher education level. Whether you are a late starter or need further preparation or guidance, the course's success is reflected in the number of students securing places on conservatoire training programmes and university courses. Core studies include classes in classical ballet, contemporary and jazz. To support the performance framework, these dance techniques are integrated with musical theatre, choregraphy, tap pilates acting and singing. In addition to the strong performance element, contextual and historical studies will allow students the opportunity to develop their critical thinking. |
