...how much I enjoyed watching your lovely dancers, and all those WONDERFUL groups! It is such a joy to see so many girls (and boys!) dancing with such energy, professionalism, and passion. You have clearly created the most wonderfully inspiring atmosphere at your school!
Francesca Filpi, Former First Soloist with the Royal Ballet Company
Just a note to say thank you for all your help over the years. I have had a really great time participating in the shows and just generally in class. It has not just been about learning to dance but building confidence and having lots of fun along the way.
It's such a lovely school we wish we had come to you earlier.
On entering the building, it reminded me of the Royal Ballet School, beautifully decorated, fantastic facilities and more importantly a warm friendly atmosphere.
Pianist, English National Ballet
What I like about the school is the discipline and how respectful the children are towards everyone.
I have examined for many schools but from what I have seen, I will be sending my grand-daughter to you.
If it wasn't for the teaching and excellent staff, our son would not be where he is today!
These last 14 years of being at Jacqui Ison School of Dance & Theatre Arts has been incredible... ...I can't thank you enough for the support and faith you have given me. You've helped me grow into the young adult I am today.
Just to say thank you for teaching me for the past 11 years. I have had such fun at Jacqui Ison School of Dance & Theatre Arts and your teaching has allowed me to grow as a dancer both in technique and confidence. I have had such great times and will always have such fun memories.
It's one of the places I really feel I belong……and it has always been there as I've grown up and I honestly wouldn't change any of my experiences at the school. At times, I don't know what I'd have done without it!
I just wanted to thank you and to say that I now realise the fundamental values you taught me from a very early age have influenced my life to this day in the most amazing way. Not only was I lucky enough to have the best ballet teacher ever, but you taught me self-discipline, to be creative, to strive always to be a better you and that giving up isn't an option; and that hard work will get you anywhere you want to go.
...with the main entertainment coming from the Jacqui Ison School of Dance & Theatre Arts who treated us to a world class standard of dancing which wowed the audience.
Councillor Graham McAndrew, Chairman of East Herts Council
Thank you for all your support and for being so welcoming.
Thank you for welcoming me, for helping me fall in love with dance again and, for your inspirational teaching.
I cannot thank you enough for all you have done for me over the past 11 years... ...it has been such a privilege to compete with and be part of such a professional school... you have been such an inspiration and I will be forever thankful for the skills you have given me as I enter the next journey of my life.
just to say thank you for all you have done for me and I have made so many friends!
Just to thank you for the wonderful years of teaching. You have been an inspiration and we will be forever grateful... ...our son has been truly blessed to have such a wonderful teacher.
Barbara and John
Being at the Jacqui Ison School of Dance & Theatre Arts since for 16 years has meant I have grown up with passion, success and support of the school. I have been given the opportunity to develop and express performance skills, whether weak or strong. The School has an atmosphere breathing achievement, which allows you to compete together as a community and constantly with yourself, continually striving to reach your potential. I have made amazing friends within the School, both with students and teachers and they helped the School to complement and enhance my academic education. However small, your triumphs are always celebrated and extra help and attention is available as soon as you need it. My independence grew a great deal with the school; what I learnt there and the memories I have won’t be forgotten.
It’s crazy but finally I’m going out into the big world on my own and leaving everything that’s been a big part of my life behind. The past 5 years have been wonderful and I’ve met people who felt like family to me…thanks to the marvellous teachers at Jacqui’s.
Thank you so much for all your hard work and for giving my daughter her love of dancing – she adores it. You are all wonderful!
Thank you for making me feel so welcome and for being so lovely to me... and thank you to all the teachers who have provided me with such enjoyable classes that I love so much.
