Performances, Festivals & Competitions

Winning Performance

At the end of each term, all pupils take part in an informal presentation to parents, family and friends. Additional opportunities include taking part in public displays, exhibitions, local charity performances, outreach projects, shows and various dance, singing, musical theatre and drama festivals and competitions which develop performance experience.

In addition, our wonderful pupils have the opportunity to display their talents in performances in an amateur and professional capacity at regional and professional theatres. As part of the town twinning with Germany and France, a number of talented pupils have been given the opportunity to perform on an international platform giving them the opportunity to travel, learn and improve their language skills, experience a different culture and meet new friends.

Festivals & Competitions

Dance Competition

Many pupils have taken part in many competitions around the country and on the international circuit excelling at every opportunity, winning numerous gold, silver and bronze medals as well as many cups and trophies. All results are listed on our website. If you think you have what it takes and would like to try out at one of our Squad Training Sessions please get in touch

For current, new and prospective pupils there is a full timetable of grade classes in all genres, as well as fun classes. There are exciting times ahead so why don’t you come and join us for our next competitive season! We look forward to welcoming you to the ISON ASLANOFF SCHOOL.

In addition to performance opportunities, the School show takes place every two years at the Harlow Playhouse in a professional theatre.

This is a multi-disciplinary show and all pupils are invited to take part which gives everyone a chance to shine on a professional stage. If you're bitten by the stage bug, it's a great opportunity to dress up in costume, wear stage make-up and of course soak up the theatre atmosphere.

“I truly appreciate that you may not be able to take part in this event, but I would be really proud to have representation at our competition from the dance school that made such a positive impact on my childhood.” Abi
